Emily Beardsley, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Beardsley joined our team in October 2025 and brings a strong background in animal care, a deep love for the veterinary profession, and a genuine passion for both animals and their people.

Originally from Glassboro, NJ, Dr. Beardsley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Rowan University. She went on to complete her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, finishing her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. During her training, she gained experience in a variety of roles including small animal veterinary technician, lab animal husbandry, and wildlife husbandry volunteering—both locally at Woodford Cedar Run and abroad in South Africa. She also contributed to an animal behavior research lab, where she helped care for snakes, turtles, and fish.

Dr. Beardsley has a wide range of clinical interests including dermatology, animal behavior, soft tissue surgery, and nutrition. Her favorite part of general practice is the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases and form lasting relationships with pets and their families. She believes strongly in client education and advocacy, and she finds deep meaning in being a voice for animals while also supporting the people who care for them.

"I chose this practice because I instantly felt at home here," she says. "The team culture is something truly special, and I’m excited to grow as a veterinarian alongside such a caring and dedicated group."

Dr. B currently lives in Blackwood, NJ with her two cats—Kira, a 14-year-old dilute tortie she's had since middle school, and Daisy, a 5-year-old fluffy gray cat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and exploring various arts and crafts. She hopes to move closer to the Cinnaminson area in the coming years and looks forward to becoming even more involved in the local community.
